With over 25 years of experience as a forensic accountant, Rumbi specializes in fraud investigations, cybersecurity risk assessment, and financial controls. Her expertise has helped organizations uncover and address complex financial fraud, secure multi-million-dollar cybersecurity loss claims, and build robust internal control frameworks.
Currently, Rumbi leads the Consulting Practice at Seramount, where she leverages deep analytics and innovative technology to transform workplaces. Her strategies have contributed to measurable successes, including a 30% increase in retention of diverse talent and a 35% reduction in attrition of women.
A Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF), and a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Rumbi serves on the boards of the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (AICPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She made history as the first woman of color to serve as the 102nd President of the New York State Society of CPAs, where she played a key role in executive leadership decisions.
